Blogging for money is my job and I love doing it. Most of the people trying to make money blogging find themselves stuck and give up half way, end up not making any real money online by blogging. To be honest, make money blogging is not an easy task, it involves a lot of things such as writing, blog SEO, blog coding, blog design, getting blog traffic etc.

I find that there are some mistakes done by most bloggers that cause them to fail in make money blogging. There are 7 blogging mistakes that is faced by most bloggers and I have listed them in this post.

Mistake #1 Expecting Visitors to Come
Always remember that visitors will not come to your blog automatically. You need to get your blog listed in the search engines, promote your blog, introduce your blog to your friends and families, participate in forums etc. In order to get traffic to your blog and make money blogging, you need to work extra hard to get those traffic coming.

Mistake #2 Lecturing more than talking
It is quite boring if you are reading a blog that feels like a lecture. I do not like attending classes and listen to lectures because it makes me sleepy. What about you? Mistake #3 Changing Blog URL
This is another serious mistake done by most bloggers. Before you get started, you should think properly and think of a great name for your blog. When you finally decide on the blog URL, you should not change it anymore.

I know that there are some bloggers that often change their blog URL. This will cause problem to blog visitors as they might not be able to find your blog if you change the blog URL. That will hurt your blog traffic and of course, hurt your blog income.

Mistake #4 Emphasize on Quantity Over Quality
Some people say that quantity is more important than quality. There is some truth there but I still think that large quantity of high quality blog posts are the best. As we all know, blogging is all about sharing knowledge and some bloggers share their life through blogs. When I am reading a blog, if I find that the blog posts is low quality or the blog posts are confusing, I will leave the blog. But, if a blog is tidy with great contents and easy to understand blog posts, I will surely revisit that blog to find out more.

Mistake #5 Neglecting Keywords Research
Keywords research is another neglected part of make money blogging. Why do we need to do keywords research? Well, maybe most of you will think that "Oh, you blog is over commercialized if you are using keywords research.". I would say that is not true.

Since we are trying to make some money online by blogging and we know what we want to talk about in our blog, why not do a research on the keywords that might be relevant to us so that we can provide correct and accurate information to our blog visitors?

The example above shows you that you are writing about your topics but since you are not doing any keyword research, your topic end up not appealing to those users.

Mistake #6 Writing low quality comments on other blogs
Writing comments is another important tasks in blogging. In order to make money blogging, you need to create good interaction with other bloggers as well. The best way to get more recognition for your blog is to write comments on blogs that are in the same niche with your blog.

Do not write spam comments and this is the mistake made by most bloggers. Remember to write high quality and insightful comments on other blogs.

Mistake #7 Neglecting Comments by Visitors 
Visitors come and go. Some visitors might leave some comments on our blog posts and make sure we are replying to all of them. Some of them might be spam comments and we will have to remove them. Some visitors will provide great comments. Personally, I find that some of those comments are helping me to generate new ideas to write new blog posts.

So, don't neglect comments by visitors, those comments might turn out to be useful.
