Search Engines Optimization | Check Number of Backlinks on Alexa

Using Alexa website, you can check the number of backlinks to your blog. So, you know which site is linking to your blog.

Number of Backlinks | How Many Sites Are Linking to My Blog?

1. Go to as shown in the picture above.
2. Use the search bar of to search your blog.
3. Check "Sites Linking in"

After you have clicked on "Search", you will come to a page as shown below:

In the picture above, I am using Google.oom as an example. You can see that has over 4.1 millions backlinks. That is an extremely large amount of backlinks. If you can get more than thousand backlinks to your blog, that is already considered very good. Try to focus on getting large number of backlinks to your blog, get them from high quality sites.

As you can see, the "Sites Linking In" section is the number of backlinks to your blog. Literally, the more sites linking your blog the better.

Is the number of backlinks means anything?

You can also check what are those sites linking to your site. All you need to do is to click on the "number" and you can see all the sites linking your blog. From there, you can see what sites are using do-follow backlinks. You can search for more sites that give backlinks on Google or you could use my list here (Top Page Rank Social Bookmarking Sites).

That is it. Simple and straightforward. Now, you know how many sites are linking to your blog and you know what sites are linking to your blog, you can now move on to find more sites and create more backlinks to your blog. In my post (Getting Thousands on Backlink to Your Blog), I shared with you why getting backlinks, how to get backlinks and criteria of good backlinks, you could learn more from there.
