In my previous post "How to Add a Customize Blogger's Blockquote to your Blogger's Blog", I have written about the step-by-step to add and customize a blogger's blockquote on your blog. In this post, I will teach you to further customize blogger's blockquote by adding shadows to blogger's blockquote using CSS3 coding to make the blockquote more appealing to your blog's readers.

How to Add Shadows to Blogger's Blockquote (CSS3)

If you have added all the codes in the previous post, then in this post, you will have to add some more codes to the codes as described in previous post. By adding some extra coding to the blockquote codes, you can make the shadow appear n your blogger's blockquote.

First of all: The previous blockquote codes looks like the codes below:
blockquote {
background: #FFFFCC;
margin-left: 10px;
margin-right: 10px;
margin-top: 5px;
margin-bottom: 5px;
padding-left: 10px;
padding-right: 10px;
padding-top: 10px;
padding-bottom: 10px;
width: 450px;
height: auto;
border: 2px dotted #FFCC66;
text-align: left;
font-style:italic;
color: #6e6e6e;
}

Now, you will need to copy and paste the codes below to your blogger's template to replace the previous codes as mentioned above:
blockquote {
background: #FFFFCC;
margin-left: 10px;
margin-right: 10px;
margin-top: 5px;
margin-bottom: 5px;
padding-left: 10px;
padding-right: 10px;
padding-top: 10px;
padding-bottom: 10px;
width: 450px;
height: auto;
border: 2px dotted #FFCC66;
text-align: left;
font-style:italic;
color: #6e6e6e;
  -moz-box-shadow: 0px 5px 15px #ccc;
  -webkit-box-shadow: 0px 5px 15px #ccc;
  box-shadow: 0px 5px 15px #ccc;
}

Lastly, Save your template and done! All your blogger's blockquote will have a new look with shadows around it.
